7 days of carefully crafted experiences
Day 1 of 7
Arrive in the holy city of Haridwar, where the Ganges leaves the mountains and enters the plains. Feel the spiritual energy as pilgrims gather at Har Ki Pauri ghat. As evening falls, witness the mesmerizing Ganga Aarti — hundreds of floating oil lamps set adrift on the river as priests chant ancient Sanskrit hymns, creating a spectacle of fire and devotion.

Drive the short distance to Rishikesh, the Yoga Capital of the World, set in the foothills where the Ganges runs turquoise and swift. Cross the iconic Laxman Jhula suspension bridge, visit the Beatles Ashram where the band wrote much of the White Album, and feel the town's unique mix of spiritual seeking and adventure tourism.
Leave the river valleys and climb into the clouds toward Mussoorie, the Queen of Hills. This charming hill station was a favourite retreat of the British Raj and still retains its colonial character. Walk along the Mall Road with its Victorian architecture, ride the cable car to Gun Hill for panoramic Himalayan views, and visit the famous Kempty Falls.
Journey east to Nainital, a picturesque lake town cradled in the Kumaon Hills. The emerald Naini Lake, surrounded by seven hills, forms the heart of this enchanting town. Arrive by afternoon and take a boat ride on the lake as the forested hillsides reflect perfectly in the still water. Walk along the bustling Mall Road as the lake shimmers below.
Explore the wider Nainital lake district. Ride the cable car to Snow View Point for stunning views of Nanda Devi, India's second-highest peak. Visit the pristine Bhimtal and Sattal lakes, surrounded by oak and pine forests and far quieter than Nainital itself. Return for an evening of shopping for candles, hand-knitted woolens, and the famous Nainital toffees.
Descend from the hills into the Terai lowlands and the realm of the Bengal tiger. Jim Corbett National Park, India's oldest national park, is a vast wilderness of sal forests, river grasslands, and rocky ridges. Take an afternoon jeep safari into the Bijrani or Jhirna zone, scanning the forest for tigers, elephants, deer, and over 600 bird species.
Enjoy an early morning nature walk along the Kosi River, listening for the calls of hornbills and kingfishers in the dawn mist. After breakfast, begin the drive back to Delhi or Dehradun for your onward journey. Carry with you the diverse tapestry of Uttarakhand — from sacred rivers and yoga ashrams to colonial hill stations and tiger jungles.
