Bali
Explore ancient temples, lush rice terraces, and world-class beaches on Indonesia's most enchanting island. Bali weaves together Hindu spirituality, volcanic landscapes, surf culture, and a wellness scene that has made it the world's favourite tropical escape.
7 days of carefully crafted experiences
Day 1 of 7
Land at Ngurah Rai International Airport and transfer to your resort in Seminyak, Bali's most stylish beach neighbourhood. After settling in, explore the trendy boutiques, art galleries, and cafes that line Jalan Kayu Aya. As the golden hour arrives, walk to Seminyak Beach for a legendary Bali sunset with a cocktail from one of the world-famous beach clubs.
Drive inland and uphill to Ubud, the cultural heart of Bali. Visit the Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary where hundreds of long-tailed macaques roam through ancient banyan trees and moss-covered temple statues. Walk through the spectacular Tegallalang Rice Terraces — emerald green cascading steps carved into the hillside using an ancient irrigation system called subak, a UNESCO-recognized tradition.

Wake at 2 AM for the journey to Mt Batur, an active volcano that last erupted in 2000. Ascend in the dark with headlamps, guided by experienced local trekkers, and reach the 1,717m summit just as the sky begins to lighten. Watch the sun rise over Mt Agung and Lake Batur in a spectacle of orange, pink, and gold, then enjoy eggs cooked in volcanic steam. Afternoon at leisure to relax at a hot spring.
Discover Bali's most iconic temples. Start at the ancient Tirta Empul water temple where Balinese Hindus purify themselves in sacred springs. Continue to the dramatic Tanah Lot, a sea temple perched on a rocky outcrop surrounded by crashing waves. As the day fades, head to the clifftop Uluwatu Temple for the mesmerizing Kecak fire dance performed against a backdrop of the Indian Ocean sunset.
Take a speedboat across the Badung Strait to Nusa Penida, a rugged island with some of the most dramatic landscapes in Indonesia. Visit the jaw-dropping Kelingking Beach viewpoint — shaped like a T-Rex head plunging into turquoise waters. Swim in the natural infinity pool of Angel's Billabong and snap photos at the Broken Beach sea arch before returning to Bali as the sun sets.
Today is yours to design. Lounge by the infinity pool, book a traditional Balinese spa treatment, take a surfing lesson at Kuta Beach, or explore the hidden waterfalls near Ubud. For the adventurous, try white-water rafting on the Ayung River or visit the Instagram-famous Gates of Heaven at Lempuyang Temple. This is your chance to savour Bali at your own pace.
Enjoy a final tropical breakfast as frangipani flowers scent the morning air. Pick up last-minute souvenirs — Balinese silver jewelry, organic coffee, or hand-carved wooden masks — before transferring to the airport. Bali has a saying: the island always calls you back. And once you have witnessed its temples, terraces, and sunsets, you will understand exactly why.
