Maharashtra
A three-day Ashtavinayak Yatra covering all eight self-manifested Ganpati temples in Maharashtra, starting and ending at Pune. The pilgrimage follows the traditional clockwise order — Mayureshwar at Morgaon first, Mahaganpati at Ranjangaon last — exactly as prescribed by the Mudgala Purana.

Early morning departure from Pune. Begin the yatra at Morgaon — the spiritual starting and ending point of the Ashtavinayak circuit — for darshan of Lord Mayureshwar, the swayambhu Ganpati seated on a peacock. Continue to Siddhatek (Karmala) on the Bhima river for Lord Siddhivinayak — the temple visited by Lord Vishnu himself. Late afternoon at Pali for darshan of Lord Ballaleshwar — the only Ashtavinayak temple named after a devotee, not a demon. Evening at Mahad for Lord Varadvinayak. Overnight stay at a temple-town lodge near Mahad / Khopoli.
